Hi,

I search a bit on the forum but found nothing helping. Maybe is miss something? Please link me the topic!

I found an old HP Elitepad 1000 G2 and it was SOOOO slow and unusable. Since I always wanted to try Linux Lite, I gave it a shot with a lot of success. That tablet is usable again! Even better than a fresh windows 7 install.

I got some issue with the touchscreen:

  • The touchscreen works to move the mouse but I don't see how to do a right click!
  • Is it possible to have a soft keyboard showing up when a text field is active?
  • Is there a way to setup gesture like, pinch to zoom/unzoom, double finger to scroll, etc. Like on typical tablet?

I saw (google) people talking about the software touchegg that give some options for touchscreen setup. Before I try some external software, I was looking for a possible builtin Linux Lite solution to keep it clean.

Anyone got a tablet working perfectly with the touchscreen? Is so, could you share your recipe?

Thanks!  :)

Marc
