Take that up with the Debian Forums. Wrong OS.

I installed 5.0 on my laptop which was slow running Windows 10, so anyway this is a whole lot faster than Windows, I'm typing this from my laptop :)

Hmm you need a message to let you know you powered up your computer.

Right after I power up my desktop I walk into the kitchen and pour a cup of coffee and grab a couple of donuts and then go back to my desktop that is 100% ready for use.

Wassamatta? You don't like the little circle of lines that pseudo-rotate?  8)  That's what I see, and it tells me that things are happening as they should. When it spins faster, I know that my 'puter is about to go totally active.

My coffee making is far too complex to do while the computer is booting, so I do that before. My rarely used Win10 computer takes enough time to fully boot that I could make my coffee, take a shower, and polish my shoes while it finishes booting, which I consider complete when the hard drive light stops blinking. With LL5, that happens so quickly that I just sit and wait while smiling at how quickly it goes.
