Hi Jerry and thx for the answer.
Unfortunately, I am at the very beginning of this test/project and I can hardly imagine i could get some funds from my company to be able to hire you as an external contractor / consultant at this stage.
To clarify it, I am a desktop environment manager/architect dealing with the management of MS and mobile user environment in a company.
For several reasons and various uses cases, I wish I could test the automated integration and configuration of other desktop systems within an AD domain / MS ecosystem.
And for other reasons I am targeting small footprint distros with XFCE and i would rather stay away from RedHat/Fedora or Suse (and moreover I LOVE LL).
But at the moment this project is not related to any formal request from my management. I only wish to setup a proof of concept
and confront the relevance and the complexity of the task. So I would rather say this a personal project aiming to
open new perspective in a professional and corporate environment. And I even can see potential benefits about it in a broader context than my current activity in this company.
Anyway I liked your answer because this is the good way an editor can add new functionalities to his product while
user/customer can get a tailored development that sticks to his needs.
Do you think it is possible to "hire" you in a more private manner in exchange of a donation and a participation to the workload ?
Of course I do not have the budget of a company and your expertise might be costly :-)
But, well, it doesn't cost anything to ask, does it ?
Again, thx for your reply.
Regards
