I'd like to request a feature for a future release of LinuxLite. At present (LinuxLite 2.8 ) the login screen does not allow for keyboard navigation/operation, you can't open the login prompt, restart, shutdown, sleep without using a mouse. You can type into the password box, but only after right clicking the username with the mouse. Can we get some a TAB (select) / ENTER (initiate) setup? I understand 90% of "normal"users have no issue with requiring a mouse to login, but I'm a bit of a keyboard commando, and not having this option drives me nuts. Everything else within the OS I can do with a keyboard operation, hot-key sequence, etc. I just can't get into the system... and if the batteries happen to die on my mouse while I'm on the road with the laptop... well then I guess I'm just out of luck.

I think that is a great idea.
And this little green arrow (like XP) would have helped the day my LL Work Laptop decided that the "Enter" key was the only key on early retirement. Login on to LL was impossible form then.

Don't know if LL 3.0 can swing these. Doesn't hurt to ask.

Will see what's possible in 3.0

I have played with this in an early alpha of 3.0, you can Tab around the login box and F10 through the top menu (Power, Language, Accessibility) will this suffice? It allows for total keyboard navigation within the login screen.

I like it Jerry.. ;D
Windows-esque and the option to reboot/shutdown from login is a nice add :)

Yeah that would be great. Thanks.

That would be perfect. Thanks, Jerry! :)

Nice. And off-topic, but the color scheme is better too. I have a big monitor here and the bright log in screen at the top of the morning is very hard on the eyes.

Nice. :)

Clean lines, simple yet functional Interface, very much appreciated.

Logon screen is unlikely to change much from those images. I will see how it looks with a grey/silver hue. Good thing is, no more buggy lightdm-webkit :)
