Title: [SOLVED] Shutdown dialogue window delay before it appears
Post by: danrael on December 06, 2014, 10:28:27 PM
Linux Lite 2.2

Once 'Turn Off Computer' is clicked, there is about a 45 second delay before the Shutdown/Reboot/Logout dialogue window pops up on the screen.  I can find no setting to adjust this.

Try adding the action button to your panel, and then, filter the action to just what you use, i.e., lighten it up.

Right-click panel -> panel -> add new item     and add action button.

Then right-click action button -> properties and trim the action down.

Much appreciated and gave me exactly what I wanted!  Had to play with it for a bit, but now I can just click my user name in the panel and the shutdown/restart/logout/etc dropdown menu appears instantly.  Clicking on my choice executes immediately.

Thanks again!
