[SOLVED] Browser Launch

(1/1)

Mike:

That seems like a bug although I can't reproduce it.

pelouk:
Thank you both for the input.

I've tried mismith's solution as a first option and it works for me. Slows the start-up by a few seconds but perhaps that's to be expected. However, using this method I get the "Unlock Keyring" message which demands my password, after which I have to manually select my broadband connection.

I'll now try Scott's suggestion and report back.

Mike:
I believe you can also just save your session with either browser open and set restart style to always. Less work I think.
menu > all > sessions and starup > session

Scott:
Hi Pelouk

Try this. I'm not 100% sure on the command field information but if it doesn't work post back and I'm sure someone will be able to help.

menu > all > sessions and starup > application autostart tab
lower left corner > add button
add application window opens >

for firefox type
name: firefox
description: browser
command: firefox %u

for chrome type
name: chrome
description: browser
command: /usr/bin/google-chrome-stable %U

pelouk:
Hello all,
It's probably been asked already but I can't find the answer:

Is it possible to get either Firefox or Chrome to launch automatically on boot-up of LL 2.0?
