Hello, All!
Just finished putting LL amd64 on my Samsung RV515 laptop. Had an issue with the volume control adjustment not functioning.
MY fix: Deleted installed volume control applet and installed it again from the Add menu - the one pointing to xfce4-mixer.
(Or one could just change the file that's called to 'xfce4-mixer' in Properties.).
The BEST fix: Click on the link in the reply...
The audio worked out of the box - it just wouldn't let me turn the volume up or down. The audio never worked at ALL in Lubuntu (LXDE) on this pup!
Hope this helps someone on down the line!

Hello!
Thanks for the tip!
The new control is WAY better. Before, all I had was master volume adjustment.
On all MY LL installs, both 'Audio Mixer' and 'Pulse Audio Volume Control' appear in the Multimedia Menu. UIAM, they both seem to do the same exact thing, so I turned off the 'Audio Mixer' button...
THIS will make an EXCELLENT addition to 2.0!
