Hello!

No one can help you without knowing what kind of sound card you have.

At the main menu, select System > Create System Report, run it, and reply with a cut-and-paste of the sound/audio portion. We'll see what we can do from there...

Hi Everyone:
I really need help.  I'm 74 and have just installed Linux Lite 1.0.8.  Everything works great, but I have no sound.  I right clicked on the speaker on the right bottom of the screen and checked the setting there.  Here is what I found. (Sound Card) PLAYBACK: Dummy Output(Pulse audio Mixer)...CAPTURE: Monitor of Dummy Output(Pulse Audio Mixer)  MIXER TRACT:  Only Master Track.  Left Click command:  amixer set Master toggle.  I don't see any sound cards listed????  Help!  Anymore ideas???

Thanks everyone....email is ok!!
