Not in front of y Linux Machine at the moment so cant do a screen cap.
But, just to be sure, have you check if there are drivers available using the drivers utility?

I didn't understand what should i change. There's nothing i can change except the Port value (which did nothing). How can i change the output device? Those windows doesn't show any way to change output device.

I didn't mention (sorry for that) that I'm using a usb audio card by Enter-world (but I don't know what it is technically called) and the in-built audio device doesn't work.
And I've connected it with amplifier.

This is my speaker setup and sound card.

Hi, you seem to have at least two audio cards.
Since there is no way to tell you which to use
Before opening an application, click on the speaker icon and choose an output.
If no sound, close all apps, go on to the next output and try again.

Again, make sure to have the headphose or speakers plugged in BEFORE booting the computer.

Good luck!

Hi,

If you are connected in HDMI, it could be that the sound goes to the monitor.
Wihout any programs opened, you have to select the sound output in the bottom right corner with the little speaker. (right click I think).
Or, it could be that you have to tuen on the speakers BEFORE turning on the computer.
If it's a laptop, check that the "mute" audio key is not activated.

I was using LL 4.8 earlier but now i have installed LL 3.8 (32-bit) due to some perfomance issues on my old machine.
Now i'm getting sound issues in 3.8. What should i do? The sound is fine in windows 7 (dual boot) and also in previously installed versions of LL (4.8 and 5.0)
