Title: No sound with Creative Labs [SB X-Fi Xtreme Audio] CA0110-IBG
Post by: JohnD on February 23, 2017, 04:41:02 PM
Yesterday I visited someone. I had installed Linux Lite 3.2 at his PC. Yesterday I was very unconcentrated. As an result I failed in fixing the sound problem. There is no sound output. Here are following the system data. Is it possible that I only need to install ubuntu-restricted-extras (http://packages.ubuntu.com/precise/ubuntu-restricted-extras) to fix the problem?

Hello JohnD,

this may (https://wiki.debian.org/X-Fi) help. Also at base of that page see ALSA link.

You can install restricted extras in LL from the Menu>System>Lite Software.
