Title: Asus 1001px no sound
Post by: Hal 1000 on January 16, 2020, 03:10:16 AM
Hi all, first post. :)

I did a writeup in the introduction thread and lost it by timing out.
Typical noob! haha... ::)     Anyway,

I have a Asus 1001px with a Realtek HD audio.
Unfortunately I have no sound from the inbuilt speakers.

Ive done some app checking and the settings look okay.
I also read through this topic page and found no self help solution.

Does anyone know what driver I need for this, maybe it's in the 32bit flavor.
Oh, it is a duel boot with W7 if that's of any use.

Thanks in advance, cheers.

Try - https://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?t=236422 specifically using alsamixer in the terminal.

A number of things to try - https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/580183 (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/580183)
