Title: 5.1 Audio from On Board sound card
Post by: Reiker on November 29, 2015, 12:26:08 PM
I am hoping you can help me with a bug I have with my new computer.
It is a gigabyte ga-z68ma-d2h-b3 MB and the problem is how to set the audio so I get the full 5.1 sound. At the moment I am only getting audio from the front speakers when I do a test "speaker-test -Dplug:surround51 -c6 -l1 -twav" .
Do I have to change the settings somewhere?, as the mb is I have to use the mic and Line in plugs at the back, which I have done, but don't appear to be getting the surround sound from them, Hopefully you can give me the answer I am trying to find, so far in vain, Thanks in advance.

Did any of the links in the Sound section of the Help Manual help?
