Nevermind...I'm a dummy. I fixed it. For some reason the audio out was set to HDMI rather then Built in Audio Stereo in the playback options in the settings...noob mistake....

Yesterday, my laptop worked great with sound. Today, it has no sound at all. I've made no changes that I know of since last successful audio use.

I have looked at the information found here: https://www.linuxliteos.com/forums/index.php?topic=574.0

It does not appear to be my volume keys on the keyboard and I also verified that all audio levels are set to 100 through the sound settings. As music is played,  I can see the sound bar moving up and down as if it recognizes the audio.

Here is the output of my lspci (lspci -v | grep -A7 -i "audio"):
Code: [Select]
00:01.1 Audio device: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Device 9840
   Subsystem: Hewlett-Packard Company Device 216f
Flags: bus master, fast devsel, latency 0, IRQ 80
   Memory at f0340000 (64-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=16K]
   Capabilities: <access denied>
   Kernel driver in use: snd_hda_intel

00:02.0 Host bridge: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD] Family 16h Processor Function 0
--
00:14.2 Audio device: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD] FCH Azalia Controller (rev 02)
   Subsystem: Hewlett-Packard Company Device 216f
Flags: bus master, slow devsel, latency 32, IRQ 81
   Memory at f0344000 (64-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=16K]
   Capabilities: <access denied>
   Kernel driver in use: snd_hda_intel

00:14.3 ISA bridge: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD] FCH LPC Bridge (rev 11)

06:00.0 Unassigned class [ff00]: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTS5229 PCI Express Card Reader (rev 01)

Audio Info
Code: [Select]
sudo aplay -l
**** List of PLAYBACK Hardware Devices ****
card 0: Generic [HD-Audio Generic], device 3: HDMI 0 [HDMI 0]
  Subdevices: 0/1
  Subdevice #0: subdevice #0

It seems like it just stopped working. Anyone have any ideas why this happened and how to get sound back on? Thanks!
