Linux Live won't connect to Ethernet
#1
I installed Linux Lite 4.8 onto my HP Pavilion x360 laptop and have been trying to use the Ethernet to install drivers with no luck. When I plug the Ethernet in, the laptop's wifi symbol turns into a spinning circle before timing out and saying I have disconnected from the internet, any help?

ifconfig shows device "em1" and "lo"

Surfing on the subject.... is this common for ethernet cards?
I had the trouble with the audio connector, but first time hearing of this... maybe I got lucky. Wink

It's always been that way with the Debian installer.
