Linux Lite 4.8 dies 5 min after 1st startup, works OK after 2nd reboot
#1
3 yr old Intel Core 2, 2 GB RAM box running Linux Lite 4.8.
I usually start working after suspending overnight, though sometimes I do a cold start.

On first start-up the computer operates normally for about 5 minutes, then the monitor goes blank and shuts off while the machine seems to remain active.
When I restart the computer from the power switch, it stays alive and functions properly.

I have a hard time understanding what might cause this. Can anyone help?

Thank you, TC, for your help.

Display setting in Power Manager is already pegged to >Never.

Is there anything else that I should look into? Any advice would be appreciated.
