Fresh install on 4.6 - Error messages on boot

Hi

I have searched the site regarding this problem but the posts concerned involve dual boot with windows and older releases of Lite.

With the latest build, fresh install, nothing complicated at all. On the very first boot and since I have had the following error messages [Only installed a few hours ago]

error: no suitable video mode found
error: no video mode activated
error: no video mode activated
error: diskfilter writes are not supported

Press any key to continue

This seems to be a bug in Grub that goes back a long way, is there a simple fix?

Other than these error messages the system runs very well on a very low spec PC.

I've been getting the same error message for quite a while.  Long before this latest upgrade.  Everything seems to work fine though.  I don't know what to make of it.

Does switching your BIOS to AHCI solved the problem?
