Hello,

I just installed LL 4.0 on a Dell Optiflex 760 with 4 GB RAM and Intel Core Duo E8400...and a 120 GB SSD to boot on.

Previously this PC was with ll 3.8 and a 160 gb HDD.
With LL 3.8 and HDD, boot time was pretty good, around 1'30"
With LL 4.0 and SSD, boot time is 15 "

I have suppressed Virtualbox as described in installation posts and have modified /etc/fstab file to add entry :
tmpfs /tmp tmpfs defaults,noatime,mode=1777 0 0

and modified /sda1 entry in the same /etc/fstab file as follows :
UUID=a59ac022-1a29-494b-baf2-4e7ef52bb22a /              ext4    noatime,errors=remount-ro 0      1

LL 4.8 running on Dell Optiflex 760
LL 4.8 running on Asus X52J
LL 4.8 running on Toshiba Satellite C670-14W
LL 3.8 (32 bits) running on HP Pavilion
LL 5.0 running on Samsung RV515
