The URL link... You add the text you want to link within the URL bbcode.

Code:
[url]YOUR TEXT HERE[/url]

Then add url= to the url you want to link to - keep it within the brackets. For example:

Code:
[url=https://unlockforus.com][b]Link to my blog[/b][/url]

Link to my blog

Code:
[url=https://youtube.com]Visit Youtube[/url]

Visit Youtube

In regards of Windows 10 S; I'll pass based on personal choice  Big Grin

Sorry for seeming stupid and preferring Linux - I just don't know any better.

....very nice..the red netbook

I had not heard of Windows 10S yet.

It sounds similar to the "windows 10 Creators update"

I had a look at it when they sent the invite, and was terribly disappointed with the info, I did not see anything at all creative being offered in the update, other than their creative use of the idea of safety online.

Reasons for my one-liner:

Quote:Windows 10 S is streamlined for simplicity, security and speed.
Linux Lite is Simple Fast Free.  So 2 out of 3 for Microsoft.

Quote:Windows 10 S will boot 15 seconds faster than a comparable machine running Windows 10 Pro with the same profile and apps installed, and it will run as fast on day 1,000 as it does on day one, Microsoft says.
So it must be running on a Linux kernel.

"Windows Lite," coming to a Distrowatch near you.

Honorable mention comments:
Quote:What if I have Windows 10 S and need to run apps outside of the Windows Store?

Any Windows 10 S machine can be upgraded to Windows 10 Pro for a one-time fee of $49. Some machines, such as Microsoft’s Surface Laptop, will also come with a free upgrade to Windows 10 Pro for a limited period.

Once upgraded to Windows 10 Pro, it is not possible to revert back to Windows 10 S.
Let the gnashing of the teeth begin!

Quote:How much will a Windows 10 S PC cost?

Machines running Windows 10 S will be available from a variety of Microsoft’s PC-making partners, with Acer, Asus, Dell, Fujitsu, HP, Samsung and Toshiba all producing machines, starting at $189 in the US.
For the same $200, I'll get you a respectably refurbished business grade laptop with a 2.6GHz dual core quad threaded processor, 8GB of RAM, a 7200 RPM 320 GB storage drive, and access to an app store with full versions of any of tens of thousands of programs including Steam.  For about $75 more, I can make the storage 250GB SSD.

Since this is about education, let's start with the lesson of how not to waste dad's money.

As you can see in this thread, I should have trademarked my two year old comment about "Windows Lite."  Somebody's actually using that name:
