problem after upgradin my linux lite 2.6 to 2.8

hi every one
after upgrading my machine to linux lite 2.8 arabic keyboard don't work i can't write in arabic
please help

Have you tried opening the Keyboard utility (Menu >Settings > Keyboard) and going to the Layout tab?  If your default settings aren't what you want them to be, you can uncheck "Use system defaults" and add what you want to the "Keyboard layout" section.
