Resize and/or reposition terminal window
#1
Is there any way that I can permanently move (and preferably resize) the terminal window?

If I'm going to be doing a lot of terminal work then I can do this manually at the beginning of each session, but if I'm using Geany to compile C++ it opens a new terminal window every time I compile and run (and if you are a terrible programmer like me, that's a lot).

I've been through the settings menu but I can't see anything that gives me the desired result.

One of the first things I do after a fresh install is to tweak the window manager settings. You can change setting for "Key used to grab and move windows" to "none" on the accessibility tab of the "window manager tweaks" located under "settings" in the main menu. This should allow you to drag the window anywhere you want. I don't know a permanent solution but maybe this will help until someone else can get you one.
