should i build a pc? whats best for Linux Lite 2.0?

I was looking at some of the available motherboards, thinking a new motherboard and reusing your processor might be a inexpensive way to get more features such as usb 3.0; however all the ones I saw only have usb 2.0 (there may be others with 3.0 but I have not seen them yet).
