Yes, if the printer gets given a different address you'd need to go through the loop again - but it is only a few clicks.  Typically the printer address will remain the same in many scenarios but it isn't set in stone.

If you find the address changes regularly enough to be annoying, you can fix it either by setting up the router so that it always gives the printer the same address or by giving the printer a fixed address which it always uses. The fixed address has to be outside of the pool of addresses which the router allocates.  Neither is too tricky if you are comfortable setting up your router or you know someone who is.

There are other methods of setting up printers on the PC (not using the wizard) which will allow the PC to cope with changing addresses.  I've found that the printer set up wizard does not cope well in those scenarios though so usually fix the address when using the wizard.
