Also take a look at this to understand why this happened with Ubuntu already on your system, and work with grub2 the next time in a different way you may like even better.

I used my phone to emulate liveUSB and installed MATE on Desktop.
Then I downloaded Linux Lite 3.0 to MATE and used netbootin,usb maker gtk and dd to create liveUsb,all them failed to boot.
After all fails I tried to emulate liveUSB with Lite from phone(downloaded through drivedroid app),just like I did with MATE (as I thought maybe my usb is defected) and again it failed.



Also big thanks for grub2 HOW-TO this will come very handy!!!

Have you had a chance to try solution in that link I posted yet?  I'm really curious myself if that works.  Let us know please.

I havent as I dont have my USB right now,Im going to try custom grub first and if it fails Ill have to wait for my friend to give me back usb.
Either way I will notify you if I failed or successfully booted

sadly nohd -- failed (used it while emulating from drivedroid,will try again when I get back my USB)
still ended up in busybox...

gonna try grub2 way

I managed to boot via grub
Worked like a charm,tutorial is straight forward and easy!

Good job pavlepiramida!

And great tip, trinidad!  I'd totally forgotten about option to boot ISO directly from HDD.
