New Linux Lite User

After using Mac OS and MS OS, I decided to try Linux Lite 3.0.  I'm having an error code 1 when I try to update. See below. I haven't been able to figure it out. I'm new to Linux so I would appreciate any help you guys can help me with.

What is this g15daemon? I've read it's a "screen multiplexer"?

Hey JohnD.  Thanks for replying to my post.  I have no idea how I got g15daemon.  How can I get rid of it? Seems like this is holding me up on updating or upgrading any of my software. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks JohnD for pointing out g15daemon.  Managed to delete it using Install/remove software.  Now able to install software updates!

Apparently you have or have had a gaming keyboard attached, probably blue tooth. The support for this keyboard is available but edgy in Linux. If the G15daemon was there to begin with you may have to reinstall it after the update. You may need to plugin an old ps2 keyboard if you have one available and then go to source forge and re-download and re-install the daemon. Such packages are not part of upgrades, and often you will have to re-install them after upgrading.

You're right Trinidad!  I do have a bluetooth keyboard. I managed to delete g15daemon as mentioned by JohnD.  Used Install/remove software program to delete it and the problem was resolved. Thanks guys for replying and helping me out! Much appreciated!

no problem only took time to install its installed
