		Colin ...............  python3, most courses indicate where there are differences. Google do a video python course which is based on python2 http://www.openculture.com/2016/12/learn...oogle.html 
However python3 is already installed with LL3.8 on my system, type python3 in a terminal and the python3 interpreter should start. If not it can be installed from synaptic package manager. I recomment using IDLE as the development IDE but just use terminal for a start. Ask if further info is required.
