Above is a link to a post/question that I asked some time ago. Again an instance of disappearing Thunderbird and sometimes Firefox. On this occasion it was on early days LL 2.0 std kernel final ( not beta) 32 bit but on this same computer .. So reinstalled from scratch and it still periodically occurred, but not every day Sad

Also happened on a desktop (twin Intel processor + 3GB RAM, periodically running Mint 13 Maya.

Any ideas. Is this an occasional "bug" ??
