Any idea what the Android-IS entry is ?
When installing Linux Lite did you choose the 'Erase Disk' option ?
If not, what options did you select at this point of the install ?
Try changing the boot order.
Boot at least once with each entry at the top of the priority list.
After allowing time to boot each OS, press Ctrl Alt and F2 together to see if anything happens
When the system boots to a black screen are there any signs of activity ?
For example, disk activity, Caps Lock or Number Lock indicators changing when keys are pressed ?
Is the black display just totally black (the same as when powered off) or is it a very dark grey - visible as a glow in a darkened room?
Do you see any evidence of a cursor in the top left of the screen while booting ?
If the system has a port for ethernet cable, try this plugged in to the router and check for any activity, e.g. link light on, data light on, DHCP activity reported by the router etc.
