New installation on an old PC - Wifi not working
#17
Quote:So sorry about that
No need to be - I didn't anticipate it would be a problem.

The log appears normal up to and including this line
Quote:Jul 04 22:16:58 christinej-K53SD NetworkManager[913]: <info>  [1751660218.9235] device (wlp3s0): state change: unavailable -> disconnected (reason 'supplicant-available', sys-iface-state: 'managed')

It should progress from the 'disconnected' state but just appears to stop.

Further commands to try

Code:
systemctl status NetworkManager
Code:
nmcli device status
Code:
nmcli device wifi
Code:
nmcli device show wlp3s0
Code:
lspci -vvnn | grep -i network

Did you ever try the wifi after booting a Linux Lite version 6 Live Media ?
If so, did it work ?
