k, & since i'm already fully installed/loaded & working in LL7.4 (not a temp. liveUSB mode) i'll sort'a do 'em in reverse order, & have to run/report the TWO commands results off of the liveUSB LL6 (session):

...NOT quite sure what's going on/NOT going on ~ this second one - the carriage/line return drops down one then just sits there, doesn't appear to 'end' w/ any results, a 'solid cursor' NOT blinking & NO indication of 'ready for next command input.' LOOKS like a hang or something. lemme know if U want me to try again/wait it out longer than the couple of minutes it's been. meantime, i may need to brute force a shutdown/re-start & then get back in to the liveUSB of LL6 & get back to U w/ those two results. mañana!
