Think back when you first started using windows for the first time. Felt like if you tried anything you could break it and won't know how to fix it. Now you understand how Windows works and you much more sure footed.
Thats where you will be with Linux if you just do a bit of reading and watch some more youtube videos. If it breaks you can always reinstall it and try again.
It seems like you're very very new to linux and I know the feeling, it does feel uneasy and you wish you knew your way around. Just keep at it. I'm just starting to see that I might not need that windows disk anymore.
