Internet stops working after installing Nvidia graphics drivers.

in the 'after' report indicates the drivers that run the network devices are prevented from loading following  the Nvidia driver install. This explains the symptoms and matches some of the reports on the internet.  There are some suggested fixes but unless you have a pressing need, my advice would be to not install the Nvidia drivers.

if you can't find anything im just going to use a different distro at this point. thanks for the help though.

You're welcome, sorry I don't have a definite fix.  Bear in mind that the reports I found were from other distros so you may need to try a few.
