Apologies first no knowledge of Linux have used Win til now so definitely a newbie
Just installed LL 6.2 on Welcome screen install updates enter admin password til I had approximately 200 updates pressed Continue til error log reported as far I make out 2 error so pasted Error log as suggested.
Noticed the server were US not UK hadn't changed the cache. As I understand it will mean I have to change it before updating or installing new software. That is something else on this steep learning curve I got to learn but I always liked a challenge.

E: Could not get lock /var/lib/dpkg/lock-frontend. It is held by process 6522 (apt-get)
E: Unable to acquire the dpkg frontend lock (/var/lib/dpkg/lock-frontend), is another process using it?
