Well, I merely let Linux Lite do it's thing, and I haven't really paid any attention to what version of the kernel it wants to install when I run the Install Updates tool 
And I have no real interest in messing around with bleeding edge Linux kernels. I just want a stable box.
Which Linux Lite really has been for me, until now.

When I initially installed Linux Lite, I downloaded the default ISO that appears in the download section. And I didn't mess with anything kernel related in the package manager.
Are you telling me that all of you other guys are on kernel 5.4 ? :o
