Installed legacy instead of uefi mode

So, I chose sda 8 and 9. It installed it nicely. After rebooting I have the bootloader and can choose Ubuntu or Windows. However, when I choose Ubuntu it starts loading and then after a few seconds the screen turns black. What can I do now?
Also, I noticed in the BIOS there are two Ubuntus as boot options. Why is that? Is that because I first installed legacy and then uefi?
Well, I can still load Windows...
