Wireless USB adapter not working since last update (july 2020)

It helped me a lot to get rid of some i386 unwanted packages! The CPU is a 64 bit so these are useless now. Uninstalling though, looks more difficult. Anyway, I got rid of the updates.

You're welcome! Glad it helped you. However, it seems a bit weird being your system a x64 those x86 pkgs are there, do you use or used to WINE? If you do, then those x86 pkgs might be needed and mark them hold may not be the best idea. If you did but you don't anymore, then it is safe to do so.
