OOps! I did not know that we were not supposed to use the Lubuntu and the Ubuntu software centres - I have both installed now and have used them a number of times...guess I'll just have to wait and see what happens...
As a newbie I was confused at first with the difference between the three install/remove software options - but only once...then the difference is pretty obvious.
BTW is there any way that I can make Kaffeine as the primary choice for playing Videos, it's so much faster and seems to be better than VLC?
