Error Log from fetching Packages during update
#2
Well its telling you the issue Smile

Code:
Failed to fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/cairo-dock-team/ppa/ubuntu/dists/xenial/main/binary-i386/Packages  404  Not Found [IP: 91.189.95.83 80]

That URL doesn't exist so you can't..

Can confirm looking at the URL http://ppa.launchpad.net/cairo-dock-team...ntu/dists/
There is not a Xenial option, which is Ubuntu 16.04 the base for LL3.8

The fix, remove the PPA and update again... (you'll find w/ PPA's this a norm)

Do you have other options, sure you can reach out to the Cairo Dev's to see if there options, or if they plan to update...
