timeshift will not open

My whole OS became un bootable and stuck after a bit of use. I had nothing important on it. Boot up from live usb and ran
Code:
sudo dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/sda
do NOT use this command if you dont clearly understand what it does (wipe everything from your hdd) Then I re installed LL and also noticed that my HDD now have even more uncorrectable errors. My LL install may only have short life because of hdd that is breaking up and losing data. Timeshift is now working also and i believe that my timeshift config files were corrupted to unreadable state because of the hdd that is broken.

I don't know what was wrong with timeshift but I believe that this
