Linux Lite 3.8 (hence 32 bits) is based on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Long-Term-Support).
Which means it's supported until April 2021.
That's enough time for your empty-soda-cans/swear jar/other fund-raising to buy a 64 bits computer before the end-of-support
Note: Over here, our schools do soda-can drives each year to get kids on trips, it's quite doable.
