Taskbar won't stay auto hidden

I've had the task bar on the side all night and worked the computer pretty hard.  It's still auto hiding.  I'm on my way to bed so I'll see if it still works after the computer has been idling for 8 hours.  If this works, there must be a glitch in the system somewhere as it should work no matter where the task bar is placed.

I'll post when I get up.
