I'm not 100% sure I understand exactly what you mean by this, but I am able to create a new "category" on my menu in ver 3.8, then place new items in it. Just go to "Main Menu", click to highlight the existing Menu location for the new "category", then click "New Menu". You'll get a dialog box where you name the New Menu. Here is a screenshot of after I created a New Menu under "Settings" and a New Menu on the Main Menu. Bot of the New Menus are named "Test". I'm just really creative that way. [Image: rolling-vi.gif]

If I'm way off base as to what it is you are trying to do, just tell me to hush. I won't be offended. If this is what you ARE after, but need further explanation, just holler.
