Yes, the strange part is that LL is one of the only ISO's that does not make a bootable USB, along with SparkyLinux. I have gotten Linux Mint and Ubuntu, Manjaro, etc. to all work but not LL. 
I am hoping to find a solution but starting to get concerned there may not be a solution. Apparently it works for others, just not my options.
