Getting rid of the 30s period before sleep

Ok here we go. First, right click on the desktop and select create a launcher. Second, name it Suspend. Third, for the command section copy this without the quotes, "systemctl suspend". Fourth, select the no icon and it should open up some icons, at the top select all icons from the drop down list and you can can choose the suspend icon to match things. Hit create. Now you can hit the icon and it should work. The first time you hit the icon it will throw a screen about not trusting and not executable. Hit make executable and that should not appear again, if it does right click on the new icon and go to permissions and check the executable box and that should fix it.


If these instructions do not work please try again and post the results so I can go back into the LL 4 vm and double check everything.
