Awsome wm on LL

Ubuntu and LL are highly customized and don't always respond well to non-native software

What I did to work around this was copy the xfce .desktop file, save it, go back to the xsession folder, delete the xfce .desktop file, restart the VM so I could login to awesome. I backed up everything from that VM regarding lightdm and xfce, so if things go west I could restore the config easily   But I honestly think is too much work and even if you manage to do it there's the risk of ending up with a nonresponsive-unusable system, so I think we're better off leaving LL have it its way.  8)
