This is only an opinion but, progress bars that just begin again give false hope.
It goes up to 100% and you're filled with joy and eagerness to start using the computer... until you are greeted with frustrating deception seeing the bar start again.
A looping animation of any kind just leaves you with the eargerness part, I think.
But if Linux Lite 4.0 goes the to the bar (with a priest and a rabbi
), I could try the progress bar script I made again (based on the Debian one). It was not a looping one and really acurate.
