Hi JesusLinux,

Have you ruled out that your router has no MAC access list activated respectively have you put your computer's MAC onto the list?

Also, how is your computer configured as DHCP server, i.e. how are getting IPs assigned to your computer?

Another criteria to check would be the channel used. I once came across a WiFi chip that was not able to connect to channels beyond a certain number.
