Settings for selection using shift or ctrl with arrows and mouse gestures
#4
Hello,

my mouse will also zoom the files image size but only if I do not release the ctrl button. eg; scrolling and holding down ctrl.

Try this to detach ctrl key -

hold crtl , left click files, release ctrl, left click on the window slider on right, then scroll. This does not pulse the selected files so may detach ctrl.

Also I notice this -
After select files if I x1 left click on grey area above white window, level with the menus, then the selected files do pulse, it goes darker and brighter, it does not remove selection, and it can still scroll and select more.
Maybe this will detach the ctrl function and allow scrolling as there is some interaction with the files and mouse by doing it ?

If trying this and you click too high, above the inline with menus, then the selected files it will not pulse, just select one and check it first.

Also you can try in the grey area, using right clicks, and also using wheel clicks, if your wheel is also 3rd button functionality, mine is.

Also have you tried the opposite ctrl key ?
I am using the left ctrl key, are you using the left ?

Menu>Settings>Mouse and touchpad> I have it set to "enable this device", "right handed", "acceleration 9.4", "sensitivity 4px"
behaviour tab, I don't think I edited it, drag and drop threshold 8px, double click time 400ms, distance 5px.
I am using a mouse theme "OpenZone Ice Slim"

It may be worth looking at the device drop down menu to see if the correct mouse is selected.
