How do I use KDEConnect on Linux Lite?

Well, I got it to work after disabling the firewall... but is this safe? I was once told that if you are running through a router to your modem, that that is a built in firewall for the network. Is this true?
Right now, I don't feel comfortable leaving my firewall open. What can I do? |
