As you don't have a separate home partition there is no use in following the video!
You need to backup your data/home folder, then wipe everything and install a system from scratch. Afterwards you can restore your data/home folder.
The video can assist you in how to manually partition your hard disk to get a separate home partition though.
If you need more specific/detailed support don't hesitate to post again. Provide as much detailed information as possible, i.e. describe the challenge you're facing, error message you're getting, etc. Then support is much easier and more likely
