Thinking purely aesthetics/flow.. And just thoughts...

Could it be movable or place-able? Keeping simple; Top Left, Bottom Right.. etc...
Maybe a translucent background

Again keeping simple, at a glance and for sizing.. perhaps a flow similar to.. It may shrink the height somewhat...

As for info displayed - I like - is there anything (throw back to LLCC) that could be beneficial if it was captured as a screenshot.. Just thinking out loud... (example cpu type or ?)
